Gingrich slams Romney's 'carpet-bombing' in Florida

Newt Gingrich kept up his attack on Mitt Romney as a "Massachusetts liberal" and complained bitterly today about his rival's scathing attacks, as a new Florida poll shows him losing ground in Florida.
Gingrich, appearing on several Sunday morning talk shows, predicted the Florida primary will be "very close." A new NBC News/Marist Poll out today, however, shows Romney leading Gingrich by 15 percentage points among likely GOP voters in the Sunshine State.
The former House speaker vowed over the weekend that he will press his candidacy all the way to the GOP national convention in Tampa, being held in late August. READ...
